Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Stratford/Rainwood site to provide bedside care, assist clinicians, and perform routine nursing tasks. A High School Diploma and CPR-BLS are required, with inpatient experience preferred.

Certification as a Nursing Assistant is desirable and will strengthen candidacy. Role is full-time, night shift, at an ancillary site with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR-BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross preferred.
• 1 year of acute care inpatient experience preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures for patient comfort and well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation on patients, including flow sheets.
• Assist physicians with examinations and tests as needed.
• Provide direct bedside care; assist with respiratory, rehabilitation services and phlebotomy as required.
