Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the Medical/Surgical and Observation unit. Night shifts run 7:00pm–7:30am in a fast-paced environment with telemetric monitoring and assistive nursing tasks.

You will collaborate with RNs to deliver patient-centered care and maintain a safe, clean unit. The role emphasizes teamwork, direct patient care, and the opportunity to pursue ongoing education within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross; if not held, must obtain during new hire period.
• Nursing students: BLS Certification upon hire.
• Military experience (HM, Combat Medic, 4N0X1) will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Report abnormal findings or changes to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patients' rooms clean and orderly.
