Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure and safe environment by staying aware of safety hazards and patient observation.
• Never leave assigned patient unattended; monitor patient during breaks, transport, and shift changes.
• Assist with general patient care duties as directed by the RN, including AM/PM care, bed/bath, and hygiene.
• Assist with meals, feeding if needed, and accurate intake/outtake documentation.
• Respond to call lights and communicate patient requests promptly to the RN.
• Ensure proper patient supplies and equipment are available and maintained.
