Job summary

Mercy Hospital – W Memorial Rd in Oklahoma City is seeking a patient care assistant to support nurses in delivering individualized care on the ICU Step Down unit.

Under RN or LPN supervision, you will perform designated clinical procedures, assist with daily care, and participate as a collaborative team member to help patients achieve wellness. This role is nights, full time, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC or enrolled in a healthcare career program through their high school curriculum.
• Experience: Mercy provides a 175-hour training program within 90 days of hire to meet state requirements.
• Certifications: BLS within one month of hire; PCA competencies within 3 months.
• Physical: Lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, bending and squatting as needed.
