Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a part-time staff member to assist with non-licensed patient care. This position entails working .6 FTE (24 hours per week) on the night shift, consisting of a combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and safety in patient care areas, documenting patient information accurately, and working under supervision to support various patient care activities. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and AHA CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of educational requirements with initial competency.
• AHA CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the delivery of direct, non‑licensed patient care.
• Completes cleaning tasks utilizing OSHA standards.
• Documents accurately and timely according to standards.
• Answers patient call lights independently and promptly.
• Maintains clinical skills necessary to perform duty/job.

Education

HS diploma or equivalent (GED)

Completion of educational requirements
