MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA is hiring a Patient Care Assistant. This 0.75 FTE role works nights with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends, assisting RNs and physicians in nursing tasks while delivering compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate holds WA Nursing Assistant certification, current BLS, and experience in patient care. Enrollment in an RN program may substitute the certification; strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant certification in the State of Washington is required.
• RN student enrollment may substitute the certification requirement; Registration as a Nurse’s Assistant is required for students enrolled in RN programs.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers with a valid card.
• One year or more of institutional patient care experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient care as directed by RN/physician.
• Assist with dressing changes, data gathering, documentation and vital signs.
• Demonstrate service-oriented attitude, professional integrity and sound decision-making.
• Prioritize tasks with organization and flexibility in daily duties.
