Job summary

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA is seeking a Patient Care Assistant. You’ll support RNs and physicians on the Occupational Medicine team, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with the nursing staff in a 12-hour night shift schedule (FTE 0.9).

Responsibilities include dressing changes, data collection, vital signs and documentation, with a service-oriented mindset and sound judgment.

Qualifications

• Certification as Nursing Assistant in Washington (WA)
• Enrollment in an accredited RN program may replace the CNA certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider with current card
• Patient care experience (institutional) of 1 year+ preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care as directed by RN/physician
• Assist with dressing changes, data gathering, documentation and vital signs
• Demonstrate service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and solid decision-making capacities
• Prioritize and apply organization and flexibility to work duties
