Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the Nursing Resource Pool. Working under a registered nurse, you will provide direct patient care and support age-appropriate needs, including ADLs, vital signs, and mobility, in a patient-centered environment.

Shifts available include 10:30pm–7:00am and 7:00pm–7:00am. Full-time and part-time roles require rotating weekends and select holidays, with comprehensive benefits starting day one and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of direct care experience or completion of a CENA/PCT course.
• Student nurses must have completed the nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, toileting, mobility and feeding as needed.
• Collect specimens and manage labeling for blood and cultures; document data accurately.
• Record patient information in the chart to meet documentation requirements.
• Provide flexible float pool coverage across Trinity Health Arbor with proper supervision.
• Participate in orientation and training on equipment, processes and procedures.
