Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or PA State Nurse Aide Registry active
• Temple University Direct Care Staff Training Course completed
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check

Responsibilities

• Builds positive relationships with residents and families, aiding with life enriching activities and experiences
• Administers bedside and personal care needs, such as hygiene assistance
• Provides companionship and helps residents adjust to new lifestyles
• Maintains oversight of assigned unit and checks on residents throughout shift
• Responds to dining needs of residents and families
• Notifies Med Tech/RN Supervisor of changes in resident condition
