Prime Healthcare Services’ Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to help patients with daily living activities and basic nursing care under RN supervision. Nights shift, full-time position with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Required CNA certification with a high school diploma; BLS within 30 days and upkeep; phlebotomy and EKG certifications preferred; strong medical terminology recommended.

Formación

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
