Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Clinical Assistant for the Frazier Rehab Institute - UMC in Louisville, KY. The role provides clinical patient care support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to safe, compassionate, and efficient care during nights (7P–7A).

Essential duties include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient condition, and supporting mobility, nutrition, and hygiene. Strong teamwork, HIPAA adherence, and safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BLS certification required by AHA
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred
• State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) preferred by KY Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing-support under RN supervision and adheres to safety standards
• Assists with activities of daily living, mobility, nutrition support and patient care needs
• Performs and documents basic procedures and communicates outcomes to the RN
• Maintains safe and therapeutic environment per hospital policies
• Coordinates with health care team and ensures HIPAA compliance
