Job summary

UofL Health's Frazier Rehab Institute in Louisville is seeking a Clinical Assistant to provide patient care support during nights. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with activities of daily living, monitoring patient condition, and coordinating care with families.

You will perform routine tasks, document care, and help ensure safety and a healing environment while following hospital policies and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent is required.
• Experience in healthcare setting is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association is required.
• State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to safety standards.
• Performs delegated nursing tasks and monitors patient condition.
• Maintains patient safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.
• Documents care activities and coordinates with the healthcare team.
