Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Clinical Assistant to provide patient care support under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will work nights (7P–7A) delivering care, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, and helping ensure a safe, respectful environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include performing delegated nursing tasks within the scope of unlicensed personnel, assisting with admissions and discharges, and coordinating with the healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in healthcare setting is preferred.
• BLS accreditation by the American Heart Association is required.
• SRNA certification by the Kentucky Board of Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinical patient care under RN supervision.
• Assists with activities of daily living and monitoring patient condition.
• Performs tasks per unit standards of care and safety procedures.
• Handles unit environmental tasks and patient admissions/discharges as needed.
• Cares for patient hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and elimination needs.
• Communicates with the nursing team about patient status and needs.
• Performs clerical duties and uses standard office equipment as required.
