Job summary

Trinity Health Corp. is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Medical Surgical/Ortho-Neuro unit at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. This full-time, 12-hour night shift position supports patient care with emphasis on safety, comfort, and accurate documentation.

You will monitor vital signs, assist with ambulation and activities of daily living, and help with prescribed therapies. Certification in BLS/CPR is required, HS diploma or equivalent, and CNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS/CPR certification current.
• At least 1 year Nursing Assistant experience in acute inpatient preferred.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Regularly assist with patient care, including vital sign monitoring and chart recording.
• Provide Ambulatory Support to patients, assisting with walking, showers, and other prescribed therapies.
