Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a customer service and warehouse associate to assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone, with duties spanning order filling and pickup/delivery preparation.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Working hours are 4:00pm to 12:30am, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail.
• Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Computer skills /experience required.
• Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
• Must be able to handle general math calculations on money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the parts counter and on the telephones.
• Perform warehouse tasks, order filling, and separate customer orders for pickup or delivery.
• Face-to-face selling and phone selling.
• Warehouse responsibilities including order picking and sorting for customer orders and service technicians’ parts; hose assembly after 45 days.
• Complete nightly paperwork and data entry.
• May require detailed notes for the first shift to ensure orders are processed and fulfilled.
• Other duties as assigned.
