Job summary

The University of North Texas in Denton is seeking a part-time Custodian for the night shift. This role supports cleaning, sanitation, and safety across campus facilities, following established routines and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and assisting with building access; the schedule is 20 hours per week (Sunday-Thursday, 10:30 PM - 2:30 AM). This is a security sensitive position with TRS eligible retirement.

Qualifications

• There are no minimum education or experience requirements.
• Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and they must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintains custodial closet and cart in neat and clean manner.
• Trash is removed daily, disposed of in the proper locations for removal and disposal.
• Communicate with custodial supervisors daily.
• Report inappropriate actions, injuries, safety issues, and work repairs.
• Consistently completes expected duties in a timely manner without constant supervision.
