Job summary

Navarre Corporation is seeking a Paramedic in Des Moines, IA for a full- or part-time role covering night shifts on 12- or 24-hour rotations. The position requires ALS care, leadership on scene, and strict adherence to medical protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic certification recognized in Iowa or reciprocity eligibility.
• Active ACLS and PALS certifications and CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide ALS patient care including medication administration and airway management.
• Lead patient care during emergency responses and mentor EMT partners as appropriate.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document treatments accurately.
• Operate ambulance and ALS equipment safely and in compliance with protocols.
