AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking a licensed Paramedic to perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor lab trends, and provide precise interventions. You will collaborate with physicians to plan and communicate care, administer medications, and respond to code situations, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements include 5+ years EMS/critical care transport, active PARA license, ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Licensed Paramedic (PARA) required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications required.
• Driver's License required.
• 5+ years EMS/critical care transport experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing patient assessments and report to the physician.
• Monitor patient labs and trends; report abnormal results and intervene as needed.
• Utilize clinical data to implement interventions and plan care with patient/family.
• Provide safe, competent care with critical-thinking in cardiac rhythm analysis.
• Prepare patients for tests/procedures and ensure proper documentation and communication.
• Duties include medication administration by multiple routes and patient handoff.
