NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a FT NIGHT SHIFT Paramedic to join the Hillsborough County Jail team in Tampa, FL. You will work alongside correctional officers and medical staff to provide emergency care to incarcerated individuals in residence.

Qualifications

• Paramedics must complete training for basic and advanced EMTs.
• National Paramedic Certification (NPC) and state licensing required.
• AHA BLS CPR certification.
• Knowledge of physiology, cardiology, and medications.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical needs and prioritize care for staff and inmates.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid assessment and advanced care in the facility.
• Administer medications, perform procedures like IVs and intubation.
• Complete documentation and care records.
• Communicate with medical and security staff and EMS outside the facility.
