Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Paramedics for a full-time night shift. The base pay is $33.99 per hour and is further determined by experience. You will deliver advanced patient care, operate critical medical equipment, and support on-scene operations during emergencies.

As a Paramedic team leader, you will drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with other health and safety professionals. You may also engage in community programs to uphold AMR's image.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
State Paramedic License required
State Driver's License required
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required
Driving record compliant with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
Some healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and IV fluids.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance of care.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
