Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville is seeking a dedicated RN to join the 5RW PCU Cohort 10 on a full-time night shift. You will apply the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team to meet patient goals.

We focus on symptom management, family-centered planning, and continuous professional growth. The role requires strong communication and commitment to evidence-based practice, with a 7:00pm–7:00am

Qualifications

• RN or licenses as required in TN; Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
• Ability to plan and deliver nursing care with clinical judgment.
• Experience in patient education and assessment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care across the continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and interventions.
• Continuously uses the nursing process to evaluate progress and adjust care.
• Promotes health and a safe environment for patients and families.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
