Job summary

B&G Industries Inc. is seeking a Prepper for the night shift to prepare surfaces on bodies and parts for painting and powder coating. The role runs on a 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, with a $3.00 shift differential and a sign-on bonus option where available.

The position is non-exempt and requires thorough surface prep work, masking, and attention to safety protocols. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly reviews each order prior to beginning work.
• Completes all paint preparation processes for equipment according to factory specifications.
• Knows how to properly sand and prep for paint, and new parts.
• Able to mask all panels and cover surface to minimize tapelines and overspray.
• Keeps equipment on schedule for delivery and assists problem solving.
