Job summary

B- in Watertown, SD is seeking a Prepper for nights. This full-time role runs 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with a $3.00 shift differential and a sign-on bonus available.

You will prepare surfaces on bodies and parts for painting or powder coating and support the painting staff. Responsibilities include masking, sanding and featheredge prep, cleaning and organizing the workspace, following safety rules, and helping keep equipment on schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor control.
• Vision for close, distance and depth perception.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly reviews each order prior to beginning work.
• Completes all paint preparation processes for equipment according to factory specifications.
• Masks panels and preps surfaces to minimize tapelines and overspray.
• Maintains clean and organized workspace and adheres to safety and waste disposal rules.
• Keeps equipment on schedule for delivery and assists with problem solving.
