Memorial Health in Springfield, IL is seeking a Full-Time Night shift PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide post-anesthesia care in a Magnet hospital setting. Three 12-hour shifts (6:45pm–7:15am) with call are required. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for this opportunity.

Ideal candidates have critical care experience and will participate in evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement while upholding the department's mission and patient-centered care philosophy.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois (state license)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to position and transfer adult patients
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Proficiency in IV insertion and IM injections

Responsabilités

• Provide total age-appropriate post-anesthesia care in PACU.
• Accommodate family visits during recovery.
• Serve as inpatient pre-op holding area liaison for ED/nursing patient flow to OR.
• Delegate, supervise, and provide nursing care per patient group using nursing process.
• Contribute to quality improvement and adhere to hospital mission and ethics.
