Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a Packout Lead to direct the Bulk/Retail Pack out department in processing efficiency and product quality from the Fall River facility. You will lead a team, ensure accurate packaging, and uphold HACCP/GMP guidelines while maintaining real-time inventory control.

This role requires strong leadership, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to optimize line performance with close collaboration across Production and Logistics. Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, safety conscious, detail oriented, multi-tasking, leadership and coaching mentality.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train team to ensure accurate, efficient packaging of Retail products.
• Oversee continuous operation of departmental processing equipment.
• Ensure HACCP and GMP guidelines are followed and products remain within specs.
• Direct multiple staff to manage varying production flows within Pack Out.
• Maintain safety programs and create a positive work environment.
• Coordinate real-time inventory control and use floor systems to track material usage.
• Communicate with Production and Logistics to ensure smooth processing.
• Verify controls to prevent delays and maintain quality.
