Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Packer in Monroe, Georgia. The role involves inspecting and packing products according to customer specifications, reading and completing daily paperwork, and supporting setup and changeovers as needed.

Starting pay is $16.50 per hour with a C Shift schedule of 7:00pm–7:00am, Monday through Thursday. The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass a background and drug screen, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Ability perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack product per customer specification using safe work practices.
• Notify the Operator when product does not meet quality specifications; assist with resolution.
• Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork.
• Set up work area using materials as specified in the work order and replenish materials as needed.
• Assist the Operator with set-up and/or change over activities as directed.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures.
• Actively engage in safety programs.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
