Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a Packer to inspect and pack quality products into boxes, cartons, cans, and specialty containers as part of a team. The position requires working Thursday to Saturday, 6PM-6AM, and involves lifting up to 40 lbs while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

You will verify weights, codes, dates, and prices, and assist with training new packers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Must be willing and able to stand 100% of the time.
• Moderate lifting (40lbs).

Responsibilities

• Inspects packaged items and alerts supervisor of any problems.
• Verifies package weight, code, dates, and price.
• Packs product into cartons, cans, or specialty containers.
• Maintains an organized and sanitary work area.
