Job summary

Tim's Cascade Snacks, a subsidiary of UTZ Quality Foods, is hiring a Packer for the 3rd shift at our Algona, WA facility. The role entails inspecting and packing quality products into boxes and cartons in a team setting, with sanitation duties to maintain equipment and facilities used for processing and packaging.

Shift is 3rd shift Monday-Thursday 10:45 pm - 6:15 am and Friday 10:30 PM to 10:30 AM, with some Saturdays as needed. Pay rate is $19.89 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Knowledge of product quality and basic operations after training.
• Ability to communicate production issues to coworkers and supervision.
• Experience in a food processing facility preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Packs product into cartons and cases according to specifications.
• Inspects product quality and reports problems.
• Participates in sanitation and cleaning of packaging lines.
• Loads packaged product onto skids.
• Supports training of new Packers.
• Works with cross-functional teams to follow Food Safety programs.
• Performs other duties to support department objectives.
