Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Weekend, holiday and off-shift work required.
• 1 year of machine operator experience in high-speed manufacturing preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and stand/walk for extended periods; able to climb/bend/reach as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate code dates and weights.
• Ensure products are sealed/dated with minimal waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area for all products.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on packaging machines and components.
• Wear protective gear when cleaning and sanitizing lines during changeovers.
• Inspect conveyors and scales prior to line start-ups and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot common problems and make operational adjustments.
