Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine, part of NYU Langone Health, invites applications for a Physician Assistant in the Surgery Department at Bellevue Hospital. The PA provides, coordinates, and assures comprehensive medical care under supervision for inpatients and outpatients.

Schedule: 6pm–6:30am, three nights weekly with floating coverage; duties include admission H&P, orders, discharge summaries, and bedside procedures.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant with NYS license.
• NCCPA certification required.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care under supervision for inpatients and outpatients.
• Maintain high-quality documentation including admissions, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Assist with inpatient consults, bedside procedures, and postoperative management.
