Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant Hospitalist for night shifts (7 PM–7 AM) on the campus of Texas Health HEB in Hurst/Euless/Bedford, TX. The role involves inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, and close collaboration with hospitalists to diagnose and treat a variety of acute conditions.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas Acute Care PA license, ACLS certification, and have 2+ years of ICU/CVICU experience. A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant is required.

Qualifications

• Must be Texas-licensed Acute Care Physician Assistant.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years PA experience in ICU/CVICU.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P’s and follow-up visits.
• Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for medical illnesses.
• Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions.
• Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients.
• Document using the EMR system.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
