Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a Physician Assistant for Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery in Charlotte, NC for a 13-week locum tenens assignment. The role covers CV/CT surgery patients on the floor and in step-down/vascular ICU settings, with a 7pm–7am night schedule on a 7-on/7-off rotation.

You will work with CV/CT and vascular teams to provide essential perioperative care. Benefits include health/vision/dental and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Night shift 7 on 7 off schedule, 7pm - 7am
• 10 - 20 patients per shift
• CV/CT step down and vascular ICU
• Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patient coverage
• Vascular surgery ICU co-management with critical care
• Cardiothoracic surgery floor patients only
• No CT-surgery ICU or operating room responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Cover cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery patients on the floor and in step-down/ICU units.
• Provide care for CT and vascular surgery patients during night shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Coordinate with ICU teams and vascular/CV surgeons to ensure continuous patient coverage.
• Adhere to locum tenens requirements and weatherby policies.
