Job summary

Vista Staffing is seeking a Physician Assistant specialized in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens assignment in Concord, North Carolina.

The position offers a 7 on/7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.), inpatient coverage of CTS and vascular surgery patients, and emergency privileges. No OR duties or on-call responsibilities are required. Applicants should hold or be eligible for NC licensure and ACLS/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Physician Assistant – Surgical or Acute Care focus.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Active North Carolina license or eligibility for NC licensure.

Responsibilities

• Overnight management of post-op and step-down cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients.
• Inpatient coverage with coordination with attending surgeons and ICU teams.
• 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts; no OR duties or call.
