Weatherby Healthcare in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Physician Assistant specialized in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens assignment of 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Physician Assistant in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery.
• Ability to work night shifts (6:30 pm–6:30 am) and 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Minimum 3 months commitment with potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Vascular surgery ICU co-management and floor patients.
• Cardiothoracic surgery floor patients only.
• Chest tube removal and management.
• Manage 10–20 patients per shift.
• Night shifts on 7 on 7 off schedule.
