Job summary

MSI is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Overhead Crane Operator for the 3rd shift in Edison, NJ. You will pull slab orders, move slabs with overhead cranes, and load slabs onto customer vehicles, ensuring they are secured for transport.

This full-time, non-exempt role pays $20.75 to $22.75 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x. New hires typically earn $59,600–$75,000 annually depending on hours and bonuses. HS diploma required; 2+ years in a warehouse preferred; forklift and crane experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift, overhead crane and warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use smartphones/tablets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pull slabs from the warehouse from the slab orders provided.
• Move slabs to loading areas by using overhead cranes.
• Load slabs on customer’s vehicle/truck.
• Ensure that product is well secured on vehicle/truck and take all necessary safety measures.
• Unload slabs from containers using forklifts.
• Arrange slabs properly by forklift/crane in Slab Warehouse.
• Maintain the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers.
• Perform additional duties as required.
