Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a RN Team Lead for the Operating Room to provide clinical leadership, mentor staff, and coordinate care delivery during weekday night shifts. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, staff development, and efficient operation of the OR team.

The candidate will ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards while supporting other Carilion facilities as needed, with responsibilities spanning staffing, performance feedback, and collaboration with leadership on

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Virginia is required.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required depending on assigned work area.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience including leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for patient care delivery.
• Mentor and support staff development and performance feedback.
• Coordinate care delivery and staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
• Collaborate with leadership on fiscal management, resource allocation, and budget considerations.
• Promote quality outcomes and regulatory compliance within the operating room teams.
