Job summary

Closure Systems International, Inc. in Kilgore, TX is seeking an Operator for night shifts to support continuous production and label accuracy. You will follow SOPs, ensure quality, and report equipment issues to the Production Supervisor while coordinating with other departments to resolve problems quickly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong visual perception to detect closure defects.
• Must follow and apply SOPs, LTTV and GMP rules.
• Able to work independent and with a team to resolve issues quickly.
• Must pass pre-employment screens and a written and driving test.
• Open to first or second shift as needed.
• Must follow all EHS and food safety guidelines on the floor.
• Must be trained in use of walk behind type lifts.

Responsibilities

• Packs and labels product per customer orders and specs.
• Minimizes waste and scrap; participates in efficiency improvements.
• Monitors product quality with QC information and reports issues.
• Maintains clean work area; uses downtime for training.
• Promotes CSI team principles and effective teamwork.
• Follows facility SOPs and safety rules at all times.
• Identifies hazardous materials and handles them properly.
• Adheres to emergency procedures and environmental protocols.
• Reports deviations from food safety protocols.
• Completes bi-annual GMP/Quality observations per EHS site.
