Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking an Operations Technician to maintain mining data center equipment in a hands-on role. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and service production machines and facility systems on a compressed 12-hour shift schedule.

The position emphasizes field work on a production floor with regular exposure to heat, noise, and vibration. A strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work nights are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Docs.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands.
• Strong work ethic, results-driven mindset, and ability to learn quickly.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in heat, noise, and vibration.
• ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test/equipment with time-sensitive urgency.
• Install and maintain mining machines and plant facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and maintenance windows.
• Physically supervise mining machines and network equipment.
• Operate and manage heat dissipation (cooling) equipment daily.
• Assist with configuration and deployment of replacement machines.
• Respond to power failures, network issues, and overheating events to keep machines running.
• Tag assets and keep asset-tracking software logs current.
• Provide daily reports on equipment operations and maintenance.
• Analyze facility workflows and issues to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to technical reports and the team's knowledge base.
