Job summary

Bitdeer seeks an Operations Technician for its Rockdale, TX mining data center. This full-time role uses a compressed work week with 12-hour shifts, including a night shift differential.

The position is a temporary-to-hire 6-month contract through Express Employment Professionals, with hands-on maintenance of production and facility equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain miners and plant systems, perform emergency and scheduled maintenance, and contribute to daily operation reports.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Office and machine monitoring software.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with hands.
• Strong work ethic and quick learning ability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in heat, noise and vibration.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl and lift/move items over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair production and facility equipment with urgency.
• Install and maintain mining machines and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency and scheduled maintenance when needed.
• Supervise mining machines and network equipment on the floor.
• Manage heat dissipation and cooling systems daily.
• Assist with configuration and deployment of replacement machines.
• Respond to power, network, and overheating issues to keep machines running.
• Document asset logs and daily equipment reports.
• Analyze workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to technical reports and knowledge base.
