Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee seeks an Operations Team Lead to guide a distribution staff and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient order fulfillment. You will lead workflow, train teammates, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in a GMP-like environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in distribution/warehouse, with knowledge of SAP/WMS and strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Shift: Mon–Fri, 3:30pm–12:00am with 7% differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of Distribution/Warehouse experience is required.
• Experience with SAP, WMS, and basic MS Office tools is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Understanding of GDP or regulated distribution practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the distribution environment and manage workflow.
• Provide training and operational support to the department.
• Post, receive, scan, and distribute orders to lines and hoods.
• Identify and correct discrepancies and perform quality checks.
• Support process improvement projects and test new processes.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and high service levels.
