Job summary

Capital Regional Medical Center's Medical Oncology unit in Tallahassee is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will administer inpatient chemotherapy, perform hourly rounds, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans in a 33-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio.

Applicants must hold a Florida RN license and BLS, with ONS chemotherapy training preferred. This is a 13-week contract position with a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule and 36 hours per week,

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license.
• BLS certification required; oncology certifications preferred.
• Experience administering chemotherapy preferred; ONS training required.
• Strong nursing skills and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer inpatient chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments to patients.
• Conduct hourly patient rounds during the day and every two hours after 9 PM to ensure patient comfort and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Actively participate in team meetings and training programs.
