Job summary
Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an RN for the Oncology Unit to join our night shift team. This full-time role covers 7:00pm to 7:30am with every other weekend, located at our Arlington Heights campus.
You will assess patients, coordinate care, and teach patients and families while maintaining current nursing practice standards. Illinois licensure and an Associate's degree or BSN are required, with CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Illinois nursing license to practice in the state.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient assessment and collection of health data from patient, family and care team.
- Coordinates care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
- Communicates clearly with patients, families and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
- Tailors teaching to learning needs of patient and family.
- Participates in quality improvement to evaluate nursing practice.
- Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards and regulations.
