Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s Jefferson Hospital is seeking a compassionate RN for a casual night shift on 4 North (18-bed telemetry unit). The role covers oncology care from diagnosis and chemotherapy through supportive care, with additional responsibilities for adults with serious conditions requiring close monitoring.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.
• CPR certification.
• Act 34/Act 33/Act 73 background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Mentor and support team members to ensure quality care.
• Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
• Maintain a safe environment and monitor patient conditions closely.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams and quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan and evaluate care.
