Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Oncology/Bariatrics unit. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays, plus benefits eligibility.

You will deliver and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, uphold safety standards, and, after one year, participate in chemotherapy training to support the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient safety and deliver therapeutic care per standards and procedures.
• Lead efforts to ensure high-quality patient experience and collaboration within the team.

Education
