Job summary

Modern Litho, Inc. is seeking a Press Helper for our night shift in Jefferson City, MO. You will assist the Operator on an offset press, read job tickets, and ensure quality and accurate registration.

You will hang plates, prepare materials, keep the press area clean, and enter time and costs into the system. Overtime may be required; strong attendance and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be quality minded and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to read and understand a job ticket.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Must have strong attendance and good work ethic.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mathematical skills necessary to compute percentages, weights, and measurements.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently read and understand job tickets.
• Identify correct weight, brand, and finish of paper.
• Hang proper plates according to job ticket.
• Maintain clean press and work area.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot roll and skid feeders.
• Enter time, materials, and costs into computer system.
