Stormont Vail Health is seeking an Acute Care RN (Flint Hills) for Labor and Delivery in Junction City, KS. This full-time, night-shift position supports healthy term newborns and mother-baby care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit with intrapartum, cesarean, and post-partum care.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, safety, collaboration across disciplines, and caring relationships aligned with professional practice. A BSN is preferred and BLS/ACLS may be required depending on dept.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Kansas (KSBN) with multi-state license accepted.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on department.
• Strong emphasis on safety, ethics and risk management.
• Competent in math calculations for medications and equipment.
• Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication; teamwork focused.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient data and analyzes assessment information.
• Develops individualized plans with goals and outcomes.
• Implements plans through coordinated nursing care.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and adjusts care as needed.
• Provides compassionate, professional nursing per Stormont Vail standards.
