Job summary

You will work with patient care leadership, medical providers, and staff to ensure operations comply with policy, safety, and regulatory standards while upholding Vail Health's mission and values.

Responsibilities include staffing oversight, throughput coordination, EMTALA-compliant transfers, documentation, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Five years acute care clinical experience required.
• Colorado RN license or valid compact state license.
• BLS certification required.
• PRN night shift availability and leadership responsibilities.
• BSN/MSN preferred (optional)

Responsibilities

• Manage resources to promote patient safety, staff well-being, and fiscal responsibility.
• Ensure staffing levels and compliance with labor laws.
• Coordinate transfers and EMTALA-compliant handoffs.
• Lead compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Respond to emergencies and document events.
