Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking a part-time Nursing Care Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator for night shifts. You will support RNs/LPNs, perform basic patient care, manage unit tasks, and document care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• NA I certification listed with NC DHHS (no substantiated findings).
• BCLS certification must be maintained/completed by end of new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance as required.
• Obtain and record patient data for medical records and inform RN/LPN of information collected.
• Administer personal care procedures including feeding, bathing, clothing changes, grooming, and assist with ambulation.
