Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for night shifts. The role involves direct patient care and clerical duties, with 24 hours per week and 2-12 hour shifts from 7pm to 7:30am.

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and a strong team player, capable of maintaining patient safety and following care plans. High school diploma or GED required; one year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Nursing Assistant scope of practice includes patient care and clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed within the nursing assistant scope of practice.
• Document observations and report changes to licensed personnel promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort needs.
• Take part in admissions, transfers, discharges, and related clerical tasks.
• Support patient throughput and coordinate transportation for tests and meals.
