Job summary

The role offers a starting wage of $16.25 per hour, with increases for experienced staff and up to $3 per hour in shift differentials for evenings, Nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Nursing assistant role requires reliability, punctuality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care tasks to support the care team.
• Meet qualifications to care for patients in assigned age range.
• Provide patient care as directed by the registered nurse.
• Obtain and maintain specimens as per policy and physician orders.
• Perform EKGs as assigned per procedures and orders.
• Assist with activities of daily living and continuum of care.
• Transport blood and products to Blood Bank as needed.
• Support equipment maintenance and ensure adequate unit supplies.
